Bettie Dorothy Remembrance Scholarship
This scholarship is to honor Bettie Gonzalez, mother of six, who lost her battle with cancer at the age of 38. This scholarship is available to any college bound female who is motherless for any reason. Must be a U.S citizen, graduating high school senior, and motherless daughter who is motivated to achieve her dreams. The deadline is March 31, 2019.
Hope LGBT Scholarship
The Hope LGBT Scholarship provides up to $5,000.00 for eligible LGBT applicants in the State of Michigan to further their education. The Scholarship is for Michigan LGBT students that are active in the LGBT community, show eagerness to achieve through knowledge and need financial assistance in their pursuit for post-high school courses of study. Complete and submit the online application. You can find the application on Facebook by typing in Hope LGBT in the search bar. The application is only available through Facebook. Any questions can be answered by email to email@example.com. You must maintain a GPA of 3.0 above to qualify. You will need to upload your transcript, must be a resident of Michigan, and must be a graduating senior. The deadline is April 15, 2019 @ 5 P.M.
Donovan Xavier Baker Scholarship
The Scholarship was created as a way to honor the short but beautiful life of Donovan Xavier Baker. Award of $2,500.00 to the winning essay. A scholarship offered to African-American males ages 17-22 to assist in post high school education. Huron Athletic Booster Club Scholarship
Must be a Huron High School student with minimum GPA of 2.0
Must have earned a Varsity letter.
Must plan to attend a 2 or 4-year college or trade school in the Fall of 2019.

Huron Township Rotary Scholarship
The Rotary scholarship applicants are required to submit a completed application, a well-written essay along with a transcript of the grades earned in HS. Applications are available in the counseling office. The deadline is Tuesday, April 18, 2019 @ 1PM.
Huron School District Board of Education Scholarship
A HHS senior who is in good standing and has been accepted by a university.
Applications are available in the counseling office. Deadline is April 19, 2019 at 4 P.M.
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A.) Be a graduating high school senior or current freshmen, sophomore, or junior in college attending an accredited university or college.
B.) Have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above.

AAA School Safety Patrol Scholarship
Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who served as AAA School Safety Patrol members in Michigan. Students must submit documentation of AAA School Safety Patrol participation, good academic standing and a strong record of participation in the community and extra-curricular activities. Matthew Edwards Memorial Scholarship
The Matthew Edwards Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #123 is proud to offer a scholarship to students from downriver high schools. The scholarship is named in honor of Cpl. Matthew Edwards, a Taylor police officer who was killed in the line of duty July 23, 2010. Candidates must either attend a recognized Christian College or major in Criminal Justice. Applications are available in the counseling office. The deadline to apply is June 13, 2019.

The Ave Maria Scholarship is now open to Michigan residents who are first-time college freshmen with a GPA of 2.8 (unweighted) or above, or an SAT score of 1100 or above. Students must be accepted for admission at Ave Maria University for Fall 2018 and a practicing Catholic. There's a new partnership between InstaEdu and Chegg dedicated to bringing free college counseling to first-generation college-bound students. All students who are registered on ImFirst.org,-non-profit Center for Student Opportunity's online community providing first-generation, low-income college students with inspiration, information and support on the path to and through college--are eligible to receive two free hours of on-demand college counseling on InstaEDU.
